The Pilanesberg is a mountain in the North West Province, South Africa.
The mountain is an ancient volcanic structure, circular in shape, that rises from flat surrounding plains.
It is formed by three concentric ridges or rings of hills, of which the outermost has a diameter of about 24 km.

Itenary – 6.00AM Pick up to 7.00PM Drop off (Drop off time can vary depending on sightings)
If required we can accomodate you with the use of a camera with 300 mm lens as well as a binoculars to maximise
your experience of game viewing and capturing your memorable moments.

Your one day safari tour will start at approximately 9.00AM in the Park
A light snack and soft drink will be enjoyed at one of the picnic spots or hides in the bush at mid morning and mid afternoon
Lunch, excluding drinks, at leisure at Bakubung Lodge overlooking the beautiful scenery of the bush and waterhole where animals come to drink
Safari tour will continue after lunch
Departure from the Park at 4.00PM

Pilanesberg Day Tour
We can arrange your exclusive private transport to and from your hotel to Pilanesberg.
On arrival at one of the restcamps you will enjoy a 3 hour Scheduled Game Drive with a registered field guide
who will convey extensive knowledge on the park and its inhabitants. These game drives will be conducted in
open safari vehicles with other guests. Departure from Manyane restcamp and duration of the drive is 09:30-12:30.
Beverages are excluded from this service. Guests are welcome to bring cooler box with own beverages.

There are no weather restrictions. Activity will always go out even if it rains.
Comfortable outdoor clothing is advised.
Recommended is to bring a jacket/jersey along, and for the cooler winter months (May to August) a beanie/scarf and gloves also recommended.

and take in the beauty of the abundant wild life the park has to offer.
The safari includes the entrance fee, and personalized game drive.
Lion and RhinoPark nature reserve, the largest Nature Reserve, on the outskirts of the city of Johannesburg
and close to Pretoria and OR Tambo International Airport.
If you are short of time this is an ideal opportunity to experience Southern African Wildlife in between transfers
or whilst staying over for a business meeting.

Natural Wonder 5 – 10 million years old, Cave Pearls, Formations up to 15m, Rim Stone pool
Stalactites & Stalagmites, Conducted tours every hour on the hour, Entry by steep staircase & elevator.
The entrance to the cave is going down 87 stair at a 45 degrees angle dropping 22 meters below the surface.
You will then go down an elevator with a drop of a further 18 meters into the cave.
